Saturday, November 10 - Davis Avid Reader Bookstore, 1-2PM – a holiday book signing with sales and samples from the book. We will talk about holiday entertaining from the book with ideas for decorating your table and cooking from the market.
Monday, November 12 – A very special occasion - Patrick Mulvaney’s Next Door to the B&L presents – The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook Dinner. Featuring Mulvaney’s take on recipes from the book with an early Christmas theme — and a family style, fixed menu including appetizers such as Grilled Persimmon with House Cheese Crostini and Grilled End of Season Figs with Bacon Lardon, a family style salad of Roasted Beets with Toasted Walnuts over Spicy Arugula and a three entree platters including what promises to be a delicious Grilled Monterrey Squid on Housemade Fettucinni, and a grand finale of Persimmon Flan with Lavender Shortbread for dessert. Books will be on sale at a special gift giving discount of 20% and of course we will be at the dinner to chat and sign books.
