Saturday, December 1 - Davis Farmers Market, 10-11 am – signing books and giving holiday cooking and gift giving ideas. The market is offering gift basket packaging for your purchase of the book and other market items.

Sunday, December 2 - Davis ACE Hardware, 2-3PM – Ann will present another one of her popular “All About Canning ” demonstrations using recipes from the book and helping you put together fun canning and seasonal home cook starter sets with equipment, pots and fun kitchen tools to accompany the book.

Thursday, December 6 - Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, 6:30 PM – cooking demonstration and book sales and signing. Join us for 2 hours of fun in the beautifully appointed Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op teaching kitchen while we demonstrate holiday recipes from the book you can make easily at home for your guests and provide you with samples.

Saturday, December 15 – Nestware Home, 3-5PM, join us for holiday open house with sparkling wine and appetizers from the Davis Farmers Market Cookbook with specialty gift shopping and an opportunity to buy the book with Nestware’s beautiful gift wrapping.

November:

Wednesday, November 7 - Davis Ace Hardware 5:00 – 8:00PM Holiday Open House, with Georgeanne signing books and offering help with great holiday kitchen gift ideas for the seasonal cook in your family.

Thursday, November 8 - Davis Chamber of Commerce Mixer at Sutter Davis Hospital, 5-6:30PM. Join us for book signing and sales, as well as  a sampling a variety of delicious foods made from the book.

Saturday, November 10 - Davis Farmers Market 10-11AM – sales and booksigning with Chef Andy Burtis from UC Davis Dining Services by Sodexo cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner from the book, and offering selected samples.

Saturday, November 10 - Davis Avid Reader Bookstore, 1-2PM – a holiday book signing with sales and samples from the book. We will talk about holiday entertaining from the book with ideas for decorating your table and cooking from the market.

Saturday, November 10 - Rootstock Gifts in Winters, 3-5 PM – Georgeanne will be signing books and giving winter holiday entertaining ideas as well as food and wine ideas from the store for the holidays.

Monday, November 12 – A very special occasion - Patrick Mulvaney’s Next Door to the B&L presents – The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook Dinner. Featuring Mulvaney’s take on recipes from the book with an early Christmas theme — and a family style, fixed menu including appetizers such as Grilled Persimmon with House Cheese Crostini and Grilled End of Season Figs with Bacon Lardon, a family style salad of Roasted Beets with Toasted Walnuts over Spicy Arugula and a three entree platters including what promises to be a delicious Grilled Monterrey Squid on Housemade Fettucinni, and a grand finale of Persimmon Flan with Lavender Shortbread for dessert. Books will be on sale at a special gift giving discount of 20% and of course we will be at the dinner to chat and sign books.  Call Mulvaney’s to reserve – 916-441-1771. $45 for the dinner with bar, gratuities and tax not included.

October:

Saturday, October 27 - Davis Farmers Market - signing books and giving holiday cooking ideas from 10-11 am. This is Fall Festival at the market and a great time to start holiday gift shopping. Bring one to your host or hostess for Thanksgiving Dinner — or cook from the book if you are the host.

July:

Saturday, July 7 – Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in SF – our demonstration is at 11:45 am/ Rancho Gordo Beans in Napa at 3 pm

June:

Thursday, June 21 – Fox 40 – 9 am (2 segments — we’ll cooking the Watermelon, Cucumber, and Heirloom Cherry Tomato Salad)

Monday, June 18 – Chez Panisse Restaurant in Berkeley celebrates our cookbook with a menu inspired by it – downstairs (6 pm and 8pm – reservations only)

Saturday, June 16 – Good Day Sacramento – Channel 13 at 9 am (we’re cooking the Zucchini and Gruyere Gratin); and Davis Farmers Market 10-11am book signing for Father’s Day
